Amsterdam police hunt multiple rapist

Amsterdam police say they are urgently seeking information on the identity of a suspect thought to be responsible for two rapes in a matter of four months. The suspect is of dark complexion, possibly of Hindu origin, and between 25 and 35 years of age, police said. The report goes on to say the 1.75-meter tall man has a slim build, short brown hair in an "upright tuft", brown eyes, a moustache and very light beard. He is well-groomed, confident and speaks with a Dutch accent. Police have not said why the information was released on Tuesday, over three months since the second incident. Local police are coordinating with Dutch special detectives in the hunt for their suspect. The first victim was a 21-year old woman, attacked early on Easter Sunday, April 20th. The second incident involved a 32-year-old victim, and took place on Sunday, August 3rd. Both rapes occurred in Osdorp, Amsterdam.
