First frost of season in Eindhoven

The first frost of this autumn was measured in Eindhoven last night. This is the first time since the start of temperature measurements in 1971 that the first frost appeared this late in November. The old frost record in the autumn was November 1st. In 2001 and 2006 the first ground frost of autumn was observed on that date in Gilze-Rijen and Ell respectively. The temperature 10 centimeter above the ground decreased to -0.3 degrees in Eindhoven on Wednesday night, weeronline.nl reported. That temperature was measured at Eindhoven station at 21:30 p.m.
