Storm damage estimated at €2m

Last night's storm caused relatively little damage. The Dutch Association of Insurers estimates the total damage to not much more than 2 million euro. "It is not so bad, especially compared to the storm of last year around this time. Then the damage was more than 100 million euro" says a spokesperson for the Association. Insurance company Interpolis received only 360 damage reports. "That is not much. At last year's storm, there were more than 14 thousand" said a spokesperson. The damage reports are mostly about water damage and fallen trees.
