Military man threatened with knife
The police are investigating the threat on a soldier in training in Boxtel on September 26th.
The student was standing in uniform at the station. According to the ANP an internal email of Defense state that the student had a knife to his throat and that the offender threatened to come back. He said to the victim "I know who you are. When I see you again, I'll stab you."
A day before the incident Defense decided that soldiers are no longer allowed to use public transport when in uniform. This decision was made to prevent soldiers being attacked in retaliation for the Dutch participation in the fight against ISIS.
It is not clear whether the threat is related to the Dutch deployment in Iraq.
The police confirms the event, but will give no further details. The Ministry of Defense will not comment either.
A few days before the incident the Dutch Jihadist Muhajiri Shaam uploaded a video to social media calling for a strong action against the Dutch government.
