Police hold fifth suspect in Tilburg kidnapping

A 29 year old man was arrested last week in Alkmaar. He is suspected of being involved in a kidnapping which the police successfully ended on August 31st between Beerta and Nieuw Beerta. This is the 5th suspect to be arrested in this case. On Thursday evening August 28th the police received information about the kidnapping of a 51 year old man from Tilburg. Due to the safety of the victim the investigation was conducted quietly. The trail led to North East Netherlands. The police put an end to the kidnapping on Sunday August 31st on the road between Beerta and Nieuw Beerta. Two suspects (29 and 32) were arrested immediately. This was followed by a third arrest of a 41 year old resident of Zaandam. Two weeks ago a fourth suspect, a 28 year old man from Alkmaar, was also arrested. The fifth suspect will appear before the magistrate on Thursday.
