Monster truck crash memorial draws hundreds

More than three hundred people attended the memorial for the monster truck accident at the St. Pancratius church in Haaksbergen this Sunday. Reverend Nico Pronk called it an impressive gathering. He led the service along with his Catholic colleague. The local fellowship of churches organized the gathering. "Beautiful music sounded, words were spoken. There was real togetherness." According to Pronk the fellowship of churches are considering to organize other activities for the town to help with their grief. Eight thousand people participated in a silent march in Haaksbergen on Friday in remembrance of the three dead and dozens wounded in the monster truck accident last Sunday.
