Electrical fault disrupts R'dam trams
Tram traffic in the North and the center of Rotterdam was put on hold yesterday after an industrial accident occurred during maintenance work. One RET maintenance worker had to be brought to hospital after he received an electric shock, the NOS reports.
Several trams and bus lines are back on normal scheduling this morning, but there are several redirections on the schedule as well. RET has placed all disruptions on their website.
The maintenance worker who was was mildly electrocuted was responsive after the shock, but was brought to hospital for treatment. It is unclear what his condition is.
