Dutch justice dept can ban ISIS: Minister

The Netherlands can not ban the terrorist organization Islamic State (ISIS) in the same way that Germany plans to. Isis can however be banned by the court at the insistence of the Public Prosecutor, the same thing that happened to pedophiles association Martijn. This was said by Minister Ivo Opstelten on Friday before the weekly cabinet meeting, in response to reports that Germany has banned ISIS completely. The German Minister of Internal Affairs, Thomas de Maiziere, banned activities of the Islamic State on Friday morning. He called ISIS a threat for public safety. About this new German ban Opstelten says that the Netherlands have its own constitutional instruments. It can be brought to the court via the Public Prosecutor, as always, De Telegraaf reports.
