Healthcare auth. puts execs on leave over whistleblower flap
Two executives who, according to the Borstlap commission, were partly responsible for the mistreatment of NZa employee Arthur Gotlieb, have been put on leave.
Sources close to the NZa reported that the interim chairperson Maarten Ruys's examination of the report from the Borstlap commission will have further consequences for the personnel.
Arthur Gotlieb commited suicide in January after he wrote a weighty complaint report about his assessment and treatment by his employer. In the report he also denounced other abuses within the NZa.
This afternoon there will be a debate in the Second Chamber with Minister Edith Schippers (Health, VVD) about the problems surrounding the NZa
