The Public Prosecutor wants the 39 year old Paul A to be sentenced to 16 years in prison for the murder of the three year old boy, Blessing, on April 9th, 2013. According to the Prosecutor it has been established that Paul A. deliberately and with a premeditated plan threw the boy from the gallery on the sixth floor of the Kikkenstein flats in Amsterdam. The boy was the oldest son of the accused's cousin. The toddler succumbed a short time later in the hospital. Paul A. claims that he can't remember anything of the incident, as he had been drinking a lot of alcohol that night. He cannot imagine that he did what he is accused of, RTV NH reports.
