Tropical storm Cristobal could bring warm temps
At the moment hurricane Cristobal is currently still in the Bahamas, but the storm is expected to cross the Atlantic Ocean this week, hopefully bringing higher temperatures with it.
According to the United States Hurricane Center, Cristobel will weaken from hurricane force off to storm level as it moves towards northwestern Europe on Sunday.
Meteorologists agree that there is a good chance that Cristobal will bring a high pressure system with it, De Telegraaf reports. This foretells a period of warmer and drier weather, with temperatures rising to above 25 degrees.
Weather website WeerPlaza.nl says that after the very wet day yesterday there will be some light showers, making way for a dry and summery period on the horizon.
