Bus crash injures 11

A crash involving a line bus in Westerland in North-Holland has injured at least 11 people today. According to the police, the bus crashed into a short traffic jam. Four people have been brought to hospital, while the other injured passengers were treated at the scene. The severity of the injuries of those who were hospitalized is not yet known. According to RTVNH, the bus driver was also injured. A spokesperson for the police cannot yet confirm this. The accident happened on the N99 near Westerland at around 1 p.m. this afternoon. The road was opened again at 2.30 p.m. The bus involved in the accident was one of the line buses from Connexxion, on its way to Den Helder.
