Schiphol gets new train, bus info screens

Travellers exiting Schiphol airport by public transportation will find a new, oversized information screen in the airport's arrival hall in September. The digital board will provide bus and rail information on a massive screen comparable to the one found in Utrecht Centraal. Transportation authorities hope the new screen will be more helpful to commuters after research found that many international tourists, and even local residents, have trouble reading and finding the current digital information boards at the escalators leading to the train platforms. More functions will be added to make the process of buying train tickets quicker and easier.
