Over €350k raised in Oad auction

The industrial auction of the office equipment from the bankrupt travel organization Oad has raised €367,000. This amount could grow with some tens of thousands. The prize piece of the auction was the beautiful classic Ford Model T, which went for €47,500. A classic coach and an Oad Volkswagen camper van also went under the hammer, raising €19,100 and €18,000 respectively. According to the auction house that organized the industrial auction, around 7000 bid came in on the 676 items. Surprisingly, most of the bidders came from the Netherlands, 250 out of 271 buyers. The money raised by the auction will go towards the curators, who will pay off debts that Oad still has outstanding. Last year September, the travel company went bankrupt.
