Man killed in collision, A6

A man was killed on the A6 near Almere on Thursday night. He was involved in an earlier collision, and was placing warning lights on the road when he was hit by a car. The victim wanted to warn oncoming traffic of the earlier collision with the light, police tell Omroep Flevoland. The driver of the car that hit the man has been taken to the police department. A trauma team was in place to try and keep the man alive, but to no avail. How the accident happened is unclear. The police is investigating.
