Lau G. arrested again for murder
Lau G., notorious criminal and recently nominated boss for the Limburg fraction of the motorcycle club (MC) No Surrender, has been arrested for a double murder in Venray. The 52-year old man from Venlo was apprehended on Tuesday, in relation to a double murder that saw two Moroccan men disappear from Venray in 2006. Lau G.'s acquaintance Geert G. from Baarlo is also in jail again. On Tuesday, Lau G., who has been living in Spain before moving to The Netherlands, was supposed to have been installed as the new leader of the No Surrender branch in the area. The top boss of the MC is Klaas Otto, who is now saying that he will not look for a new boss after the Department of Justice acted so quickly on Lau G. According to the Public Prosecution Authority (OM), new evidence in the case allowed for the arrest. To protect the investigation, the OM is not releasing any details about this new evidence. Karim Fourkour (19) and Foulad Bendalla (23) were caught stealing from a marijuana plantation in Venray in 2006. They were shot and killed on sight.
According to sources, the bodies were dissolved in hydrochloric acid. This is the third time that Lau G. and Geert G. have been arrested in relation to this case. The first time they were arrested was in 2006, and then again in 2012. In both arrests, the judge released them. At the end of last year, the case was reopened after seven years against the two suspects. Lau G.'s lawyer, Marcel Heuvelmans, is said to be surprised about the new arrest of his client, but will not give further comments. "I will first wait what kind of new information justice thinks they have. I will hear that on Thursday at the first trial appearance before the examining judge."
