Fire in Schoorl dunes

A large-scale fire broke out in the dunes of Schoorl Saturday night. An area of around 200 square meters was burnt away. The fire has been quenched. It is being said that there were two separate fires, a small distance from each other, according to the NOS. The fire department has managed to put out both fires. There was a fire in the area on Friday afternoon as well, which leads the fire department to suspect arson. The police will launch an investigation into the cause of the fire. The fire department needed 45 people to put out the fire.
