New research in c-section problems
One out of five women who have a C-section experience problems afterwards, in some cases to the extend they want the uterus removed, even if they still have a desire for more children, according to a study by Obgyn's of VUmc in Amsterdam."We now know that in over half the cases cavities can form around the scar tissue in the uterus," said Obgyn Judith Huirne of VUmc.
In one out of five women the incision in the uterus doesn't heal properly, causing daily blood loss, sharp pains in the lower abdomen, and even infertility.
