Shots fired in armed robbery bust

Police in Hengelo apprehended five suspects involved in attempted armed robbery of a home on Tuesday. At around 5 p.m., reports came in that there were several armed men trying to break into a home on the Louis Bouwmeesterstraat. Officers immediately cordoned the area off and began an investigation in order to apprehend the suspects. A warning shot was fired. Five suspects were caught and have been brought to the police detainees center. None of those involved have been harmed. The investigation into the incident, what caused it and how it happened, is still underway.
