Bus shooting victim unintentional

A woman from Almere who was wounded by a gunshot on a bus in her hometown Wednesday was in the wrong place at the wrong time, police investigations show.

The 34-year-old was on a bus at the in Almere central station around noon, when two men entered into a heated argument. One of them pulled out a gun and fired a shot. The bullet missed his opponent, but struck the unlucky lady in the back. She was admitted in an area hospital. Police were able to arrest one of the men within the hour in the Bouwmeesterbuurt. He remains in custody. The other man has not been caught, yet.
