Fire destroys office building in Amsterdam

Last night, a huge fire destroyed an office building on the Melissaweg in Amsterdam, according to the fire department.

The fire was reported around 1:20 am after people saw smoke coming from the building, the Parool reports. Several businesses were located in the building, including a kitchen company. The fire department was able to prevent the fire from spreading to surrounding properties, Nos reports. No one was injured. It is still not clear what caused the fire.
