Prosecutor shames court, cops on pimp punishment
Amsterdam public prosecutor Jolanda de Boer has criticized police and judges approach to pimps, Parool reported.

Wikimedia commons On Wednesday, De Boer said in her closing speech after the trial of two Hungarian men accused of trafficking women. She said that police and courts should be tough on pimps and continue to play down violence and forced prostitution. De Boer wants the two Hungarian women traders to be imprisoned 12 and six years. One of two suspects was jailed only 21 months in a a similar case in 2008. According to De Boer, requiring young girls to work double shifts in seven days in week is barbaric.
