Court wants Schultz to reassess A10 speed increase
A court in Amsterdam on Friday ordered Minister of Infrastructure and the Environment Melanie Schultz to look again at her decision to increase the speed limit on the A10, Nieuws reported.
In July 2012, Schultz had decided to increase the speed limit on the A10 to 100 kilometers per hour from 80 kilometers per hour.
According to the court, Schultz did not consider the health risks and emissions associated with high speed traffic.
The court asked Schultz to come up with a new decision in next six weeks.
