Shell: arctic oil from 2025
Shell expects to be able to produce oil in the Arctic, starting 2025, announced departing CEO, Peter Voser, in a farewell interview on the Shell website.Shell can sustainably produce oil off the coast of Alaska, according to Voser. The company may start up test drilling in the area again in 2014 or 2015.

Greenpeace has been protesting against Shell's plans for a while. The environmental organization thinks oil productions in the Arctic will damage the environment.
