Roman road in Utrecht

In Utrecht, archaeologists have discovered part of a Roman road under the cathedral square, Nos reports Tuesday.

A Roman fort stood on the site of the Cathedral Square. The remains were found during work on a public underground center on Cathedral Square. The center will be opened to public early June. Visitors will be able to see the Roman remains.
