Over 1,000 Storm Damage Calls
First responders were sent out on over 1,000 storm damage calls around the Netherlands between 6:00 and 16:30, according to Alarmeringen.nl.
217 of the 1,032 calls came from Noord Holland, where strong winds made this one of the hardest hit provinces. 969 of the calls were made between 12:00 and 16:00, with 596 of those taking place between 15:00 and 16:00.

Amongst the worst reported damage in the Netherlands is in the Frisian village Koudom, where nearly the entire front facade of a house was torn off the building.
The most storm damage calls came from the cities of Amsterdam (75), Den Helder (41), Leiden (34), Heerhugowaard (27) and Alkmaar (26). All five cities are in Noord Holland.
