Same Standards For Nurseries, Playgroup

The Netherlands is introducing tougher quality rules for nurseries and playgroup. Playgroup / Flickr Minister of Social Affairs Lodewijk Asscher and Secretary of Education Sander Dekker said in a letter to the Lower House that nurseries and playgroups should soon meet the same standards, the Nos said. The new rules will come into effect from January 1, 2016. "Good child care and playgroups are in the best interests of each child it makes them more likely to succeed in their future schooling and the labor market," Asscher writes.
