Wikipedia.org The 40-year-old actor, who appeared in five Fast and the Furious-action films, was killed in a car accident in California. The fans had gathered in the Hoogvliet district of Rotterdam, and drove in a 10-kilometer long procession to the parking lot of de Kuip. Initially, the procession was meant to go to Barendrecht, but they changed their mind. The atmosphere was one of peace, according to the police. Shortly after leaving an event for Walker's charity Reach Out Worldwide for victims of Typhoon Haiyan, on November 30, the car Walker was in, crashed into a light pole and tree in Valencia, Santa Clarita, California, and the vehicle burst into flames. Walker was a passenger, and his friend, Roger Rodas, was believed to be driving. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department declared the two dead at the scene. The Sheriff's Office believes speed to be a factor in the crash, due to burned rubber and doughnut marks in figure 8 patterns on the road near the crash site, but it was not clear if these were related to the crash.
