Jan van Zanen Nominated As New Mayor of Utrecht

The Utrecht city council has nominated Jan van Zanen (VVD) as the new mayor of Utrecht, NRC.nl reports Tuesday. Currently, van Zanen, 52, is mayor of Amstelveen. Aleid Wolfsen, current mayor of Utrecht, will give up his duties on January 1, 2014. Jan van Zanen / Wikipedia
