Schools Need €7M For Buildings Maintenance

A new survey found that €7 million are needed for maintenance of the school buildings, Nos reports. The survey, commissioned by the Ministry of Education, interviewed some 1100 heads from primary and secondary schools. About 70% of them said work should be done on their school buildings. School / Flickr The most urgent improvements include HVAC systems, doors and windows and insulation. It is estimated that €3 million would be needed for each high school. There are 6855 primary and 1222 secondary schools in the Netherlands.
