Royal Tropical Institute to Ship 400,000 Books to Egypt
The Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam would give some 400,000 books to Egypt, reports the Volkskrant.
The Biblioteca Alexandrina, a major library and cultural center in the Egyptian city of Alexandria, wants to take these books, which were set to be dumped.

Ismail Serageldin, director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, is visiting Amsterdam to finalise a deal. The Egyptians will pay the packing and shipping costs.
