Top Dutch Baseball Players
Bleacher Report released a list of the top best players from the Kingdom of the Netherlands in major league baseball.
Andrelton Simmons, born in Mundo Nobo, Curacao, smacked 17 homers and notched 59 RBI this season. He had a rough batting average of .248 in his first full big league season. He is the no-brainer winner for a Gold Glove award at shortstop in 2013 and could become the first baseball player ever to win Dutch Athlete of the Year honors.

Kenley Jansen, born in Willemstad, Curacao, in 2004 joined Los Angeles Dodgers as a catcher. But he then became a pitcher.
Jurickson Profar, born in Willemstad, Curacao, is the future of baseball and the pride of Curacao. In 85 games in 2013, Profar struggled in Texas Rangers with a .234 average.
Xander Bogaerts, born in Oranjestad, Aruba, hit .250 in 18 games. He will continue to play a big role for the Sox in the World Series and has an extremely bright future ahead of him as the franchise's third baseman.
Didi Gregorius, born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is fifth on this list. In 103 games, Gregorius hit just .252 with seven homers and 28 RBI, but flashed brilliant potential both offensively and defensively throughout the season.
