Police besieged by angry mob
Some agents were attacked by an angry mob of several dozen people in the night from Saturday to Sunday in Roermond. They had to use batons to keep the crowd at a distance. Two people (16 and 32) were arrested, announced the police on Sunday.
The uproar occurred after an argument in a café on the Zwartbroekplein. Even though it had been resolved by the staff of the pub, things escalated when the police appeared at the scene.
