Wikimedia commons The only possible explanation is it concerns the drug stock. Any claim of illegal drugs is a lie, states the environmental organization in a press release. The drugs, including morphine, were under lock and key on the ship, which is in line with the maritime laws. Only the doctor and the captain had access, but Greenpeace is aware the Russian authorities cracked the safe in the search. The Russians' research furthermore revealed the activists tried to ram a coastguard ship, risking the lives of officers on board, according to the investigators. It is likely the charges against the crew be extended and reinforced, due to the results of the research.
