Flickr The cause of death is yet unknown. The police are investigating the matter. The Van Roekelweg was partly cordoned off with ribbons by the police on Wednesday. A container was placed at the corner house where the children and the mother were found. The house was further hidden from view by black screens. Police officers were at the scene to keep curious bystanders at a distance. Mayor John Berends describes the death of the two children as horrific. The town's primary concern now is to be there for the immediate family, the neighborhood, the friends, and the schools of the children.
