Motorist caught with bottle of wine behind the wheel
A 52-year-old motorist from Leuth in Gelderland took place behind the wheel Sunday, unabashedly, with a bottle of wine in hand.His alcoholism cost him his license, reported the police on Monday.A witness saw the man swerving down the A9 toward Alkmaar and informed the police. They pulled him over for a breathalyzer.
The driver had a blood alcohol level of more than 2.3 and was taken to the police station, where he had to surrender his license.
