Men Arrested For Human Trafficking
Three men from Heerlen have been arrested on charges of human trafficking. Of the three, two were arrested on Monday in Heerlen, reported the National Office of the Public Prosecutor (OM) on Tuesday. The third man, a 41-year-old, was taken into custody last Wednesday at Utrecht Central Station.
The 41-year-old man was arrested after a railway employee had called the police. The employee found it suspicious that the man had company of two young women who had bags with sexy lingerie with them. The 18-year-old women came from Hungary and most probably work as prostitutes, according to the OM. The identity cards of the women were in the possession of the man who was arrested.
