UK Cyclists to Kick off Amsterdam Challenge
A group of young bicyclists are set to travel 350 miles from London to Amsterdam in memory of a Surbiton teacher who passed away at the age of 25 from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

The challenge will begin on Sunday, August 4, and will benefit the Lymphoma Association. Sam King, West Molesey, and Steve Webb, will take on the challenge for the late teacher, Mr. Penn and the foundation he would like to help. The group is hoping to raise £5,000.
“We are aiming to cover up to 70 miles a day during the event. This will be tough, as none of the team are professional cyclists by any means,” King said.
“It’s sad to think that even though lymphoma’s the UK’s fifth most common cancer, Nick didn’t know what it was until he was diagnosed with it. I hope that my cycle ride will help not only to raise money, but also to raise awareness of this disease.”
