UK Balloon Travels 440 miles to NL

A red helium balloon with logo from Fair in the Square in Highgate, an area in North London, journeyed 440 miles to the Netherlands where it was found by a farmer. The Schilstra family found it and got in touch with the organizers through email last week. Highgate’s Fair spokeswoman Jacquie Richardson said: “We were delighted. It must have escaped on a bid for freedom, because it was not a balloon race.“They must have been very surprised when the father was mowing the lawn,” she added.
