4983 Companies Announced Bankruptcy

On Thursday, CBS reported that 4983 businesses and establishments confirmed bankruptcy in the Netherlands during the first half of 2013, according to the Dutch National Statistics Office. Business district at Amsterdam Zuid 1
Daniel Sparing/flickr The declaration shows that the first half of 2013 is 14 percent above the bankruptcy rate in the first half of last year. CBS also reported the number of bankruptcies in construction, wholesalers, and trading industry is still high. Furthermore, private or personal companies involving paint, plumbers, and project developers also experienced an abrupt increase in liquidation. The number of bankruptcies also went up in all provinces compared to the first half of 2012.
