Man Celebrates 107th Birthday

Netherlands’ oldest man celebrated his 107th birthday on July 1, Armenpress reports. ritchielee/flickr Serob Mirzoyan is the oldest man in the country. He recently turned 107 on his birthday. He was born in 1906 in Diarbekir, Turkey. His family moved to Iraq and migrated to Amersfoot, the Netherlands in 1996. On his birthday, his family was present and Mayor Lucas Bolsius also came to visit and greet him. Jiroemon Kimura from Kyotango, Japan, was the world's oldest person, and the oldest man to have ever lived. Kimura died on June 12 at the age of 116.
