Restaurant for Single Customers

On June 27, a restaurant named “Eenmaal’ was launched in Amsterdam which exclusively caters to solo diners. Entreprenuer and Dutch branding company, Vandejong, designed a restaurant committed to single-occupancy tables. Creator Marina van Goor said in a press release that the restaurant is the ideal place for those who want to eat in a nice solitude, a thrilling experience for those who never dined out alone, and a beautiful place for those who like dining on their own. “We wanted to achieve two things with the branding [of 'Eenmaal']. First, we wanted to entice people to come to the restaurant and at the same time, to give them food for thought,” Vandejong’s creative director Pjotr de Jong adds. “'Eenmaal' is a brand that is at the heart of today’s society - we wanted to demonstrate that eating in solitude can be a good thing.” Source: Yahoo Canada
