ABN AMRO/flickr Billy Bakker and Jeroen Hertzberger were the players of the match. Bakker lead the Dutch by scoring a goal in the first couple of minutes. He made a reverse stick shot past India’s keeper Sreejesh. Hertzberger, meanwhile, scored another point from the penalty spot. The Dutch team stayed aggressive all throughout the first half even though the opposing team showed confidence. In the second half, India failed to approach past goalkeeper Jaap Stockmann. India’s Sandeep Singh almost secured a goal with a penalty corner drag-flick but lunged to his left and made a superb save.
