Royal Tour Stage Two

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima continue their royal tour on Thursday, visiting the provinces Gelderland and Utrecht. During the second stage of their tour they will need an umbrella since the weather forecast shows that it will most probably rain. How more Dutch can it be! The royal couple will visit, during the eight hours trip, the places Duiven, Arnhem, Oosterbeek, Wageningen, Vianen, Nieuwegein, IJsselstein and Utrecht. They will meet associations, clubs, institutions and schools. Going over from Gelderland to Utrecht they will meet 100 people from Gelderland and Utrecht at the border, the river Lek. Willem-Alexander is, by tradition, the new baron of IJselstein. According to the hundreds of years old tradition he will be given a horse. The king will not keep the horse but will donate it to a nursing home.
