Exhibition Inaugurations
The exhibition on royal inaugurations, which shows in the Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam, has attracted about 3700 visitors in its first opening weekend . This was reported by a spokeswoman of the exhibition. Last Saturday the exhibition opened its doors.
‘A beautiful weekend. We are very satisfied,’ said the spokeswoman.
The exhibition is about the inaugurations of seven generations of the Orange family and will last for exactly 100 days.
To make this exhibition possible, there was a cooperation with Palace Het Loo in Apeldoorn. Among other things, royal garments are showed which were used for the last two inaugurations, historical objects but also historic and actual footage, like some shots of princess Amalia and her sisters.
