2 Fatalities on the N223

Two people died and four were severely injured after a serious traffic accident on the N223 close to Lier on Thursday morning. The police are yet to determine the cause but they suspect that a wrong overtaking most likely happened before three cars and a truck collided on the road to Delft. One car ended up in the water. Nu.nl reports that the road will remain closed while the police conduct their investigation.
