Rdam Fatal Stabbing

A 43-year-old woman died overnight after being stabbed in her Rotterdam home, according to newswire ANP. Police responding to the scene Tuesday night found the woman, a combative 45-year-old man covered in blood, and the knife believed to have been used in the attack.

The woman was taken to an area hospital where she later died. The unidentified suspect is in custody.

Police reportedly said the woman and man knew each other, and that the incident is a case of domestic violence.
