Two security guards at the Zuyderland Hospital in Geleen are suspected in the death of a 37-year-old man from Heerlen. The man died on Friday after an altercation with the guards, a spokesperson for the Public Prosecutor confirmed to ANP on Monday.

The seemingly disturbed man walked through the hospital's central hall last week Sunday and was confronted by the security officers. They asked what he was doing, and he responded aggressively. The security guards subdued him. 

When the police arrived at the scene, the man had become unwell. He died in hospital on Friday.

People traveling on aircraft are systematically exposed to life-threatening nerve gases, which are sucked in through the engine along with the fresh air. Frequent flyers that can not break down the toxins properly, are at risk of becoming critically ill, or even dying.

Unpopular measures would be needed to reduce the number of injuries and deaths in traffic, suggests a new study published today by the Road Safety Research Foundation (Stichting Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek Verkeersveiligheid). A 79 year old man from Hellevoetsluis lay dead in his home for three months before the body was discovered. Concerned neighbours reported the man missing to the police. Reports indicate that the man had no family and did not socialize often. According to police, the man died of natural causes.
