On Tuesday morning the police arrested five people between the ages of 25 and 50 years during raids in Aalsmeer. All five are suspected of involvement in Latumahina's murder.
Police officers in Rotterdam made quite a catch when they decided to check a man in the back seat of a car on Mijnsherenlaan due to his nervous behavior. In the car the cops found 747 thousand euros in cash and 1.5 kilograms of cocaine. The man, a 52-year-old German, was arrested on suspicion of money laundering, the police said in a statement.

The Zwolle police used a taser in an arrest for the first time on Saturday while they were arresting an "aggressive" drunk refusing to follow police orders, the police said in a statement.

Two suspects were arrested on Sunday in connection with a video on Facebook showing a young Muslim woman being attacked by two men in Amsterdam Noord, the police department Amsterdam Boven IJ announced on Facebook.
The video shows the woman, wearing a hijab or headscarf, lying on the ground and trying to cover her head with her arms while two men viciously kick and beat her. The men's faces can be seen on the video.

Three Zeeland girls were arrested for distributing nude photos of high school students from different places in the province on social media, the police announced in a statement on Thursday.
The girls posted nude photos and videos, but also Photoshopped images in which they pasted the heads of fellow students on disfigured bodies. They did so using an Instagram account, which the police removed.

The police arrested a 68-year-old man in Noord-Brabant on suspicion of selling fake hospital bills in Thailand, the Dutch Public Prosecutor announced on Wednesday. The Prosecutor believes that the fraud committed with these fake invoices amounts to nearly 130 thousand euros, ANP reports.
