The Sint Joriscollege in Eindhoven decided to cancel a school trip to Paris scheduled for Friday after another terrorist attack in the French city on Thursday evening. One police officer was killed and two others seriously injured in a shooting on the Champs Elysees that was claimed by terrorist organization ISIS, Omroep Brabant reports.
Two fans and a police officer were injured around the Europa League quarter final match between Ajax and Schalke 04 at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on Thursday, the German police said in a statement. There were also 129 arrests and charges filed against 49 people.
The police did not say whether the injured fans were Dutch or German.
A video surfaced of police officers shooting a man in the leg on Hobbemaplein in The Hague. The police confirmed that it involves an incident on the square on April 12th, AD reports.
According to the police, the man was waving a knife and would not listen to police officers' instructions to drop the weapon. A warning shot was fired. When the man still refused to listen to the police, the officers decided to shoot him in the leg.

The Public Prosecutor must investigate whether NAM was guilty of damaging housing, possibly creating life threatening situations, in the gas extraction area in Groningen, the Arnhem-Leeuwarden court ruled on Thursday, NOS reports.
The case was filed by the Groninger Bodem Beweging (GBB) an a number of individuals from the gas extraction area. The Groningen residents say they are dealing with, in some cases severe, damage to their homes caused by earthquakes that resulted from years of gas extraction.
One person was killed and another injured in a fire in a building in Venlo on Thursday afternoon, the Limburg-Noord fire department said on Twitter.
According to local safety office Veiligheidsregio Limburg-Noord, the fire started on the second floor of care institute Via Cresceno. Emergency services started evacuating the building around 12:00 p.m.
The fire department has the fire under control. It is unclear how it started.

A woman was stabbed in a home on Van der Nootstraat in Oss on Wednesday. The extent of the victim's injuries is unclear, but she was hospitalized. Her son was arrested, the Oost-Brabant police said on Twitter.
